My first JavaScript project was a Super Mario Bros. game engine I made in high school. I have always been drawn to JavaScript and other ECMAScript based languages. I spend most of my time tinkering with JavaScript frameworks, fixing bugs and running benchmarks. I love interacting with the JavaScript community and try to help as much as possible. I have a bachelors degree in Multimedia Instructional Design, an awesome wife, and a puppy.

My first big project was writing a web application for using and administering a pan-tilt-zoom security camera system. I've always been interested in API design, speed and usability of a library. I enjoy remodeling my house, playing softball, spending time with my wife and learning web technologies, in no particular order.

My first JavaScript project was a Twitter Dashboard Widget that I wrote when I was fourteen. Although the prospect of computer programming seemed intimidating at first, I quickly found it to be a very engaging hobby that provided a much-needed break from my rigorous academic schedule. When I'm not programming, I love cross-country running, nature photography, jamming to music, and reading the occasional good book. I'm also an exacting perfectionist who consistently enjoys learning and trying new things, even if I do need a push to get me started! I'm currently completing my senior year of high school, and am considering pursuing a master's degree in history and public affairs in college.

My first JavaScript project was a site that allowed seeing your MSN contacts, their statuses, etc. using JavaScript and reverse-engineering the API - since then JavaScript has always been something special for me. I now do front-end and back-end programming, with a service-based business web app being the focus of most of my time. I have an Associates in Networking, enjoy music, playing trumpet, photography, and video games.
